In winter, St. Joseph lighthouse, which is located on Lake Michigan, where the waves at this time of the year reache 7 meters or more in height, covered with ice, which makes the building turn into something very unusual and fabulous.

Under the influence of the winds and the water, the whole lighthouse gets thick layer of ice which so strong that forms a curve very similar to the huge icicles, creating a built-in benchmark truly monolithic white sculpture, for which time seems to have stopped.
