An old shack built in 1878, located at an altitude of 1760 meters above sea level, was used as temporary accommodation during the grazing season. Architecture studio Savioz Fabrizzi Architectes renovated house, turning it into a cozy holiday home in the mountains of Switzerland.
Apart from minor modifications, the building has retained its original character. The architects have returned to its original appearance and slightly raised the level of the roof.
Also, there was a panoramic window overlooking the valley and the surrounding Alps, letting sunlight into the house, which created a warm and cozy atmosphere thanks to the decoration of larch wood.
