Photographer came to Alaska to take pictures of polar bears, but did not find there the any snow

In October this year, photographer Patty Waymire went to Barter Island, which is located in the Beaufort Sea off the coast of Alaska to take pictures of polar bears in the snow, but there she had a great disappointment. Arriving on the island, Patty was surprised to find that there is still no snow, and haven’t yet began to form sea ice.

About the photographs of bears frolicking in the white snow, she had to forget, because the majestic masters of the sea and ice appeared in front of her lying in the sand on the beach. These sad photos speak for themselves, and serve as a reminder to all of us about the consequences of global warming.
